Time to plant garlic!
Really! I know they say plant on the shortest day - but that just short changes your crop.

If you get your garlic cloves in while the soil is still a bit warm, and before the wet cold winter conditions really set in, you'll get a good burst of growth that sets the plant up for an excellent season.
And who doesn't want a good garlic season?
