Rokeby Neighbourhood Centre have a bright, cheerful and spacious new community garden thanks to FIMBY and a grant from the State Government.
FIMBY worked with the coordinator of the centre, Anthony, to come up with a design that include bright colours, and varying sized colorbond garden beds. The 22 beds are allocated to local schools, childcare centres and other community groups to use as they wish. Its wonderful to see loads of winter vegies already growing in this garden that we set up only a few months ago.
Yesterday the official opening was held, with a few special guests!
