First seasonal feast!

We've just enjoyed our inaugural seasonal feast with the FIMBY community!

On Monday night our group of pilot FIMBY gardeners gathered for a seasonal feast, bringing the produce from their own gardens. Lots of leafy greens, fresh herbs, beetroot, carrots and potatoes featured on the menu. And rhubarb crumble for dessert!

The occasion was "Feedback and a feed" - a chance to hear from our pilot people how they feel the process has been going so far, and to capture their good ideas to improve our service for the next intake.

It was fantastic to hear that there has been heaps of interest, discussion, swapping of seedlings and friendly competition with the neighbours for our gardeners. Also that the experience of fending off a wallaby attack has given one of our gardeners "lots more empathy for farmers" who are so important for us all.
